  • Side A: Find keywords relating to "job market" in the Encyclopedia Britannica and "jobs" in the thesaurus.

  • Side B:  Find keywords relating to "global awareness" in the Encyclopedia Britannica and "global" in the thesaurus.

SEARCH STRATEGIES 

  • Boolean - AND, OR, NOT  (Example: globalization AND employment)
  • Field searching - Subject, Author, Title (Example:   SUBJECT: globalization)
  • Quotation marks for exact phrase ("job market")
  • Truncation - root + variants (*)  (employ* will find employee, employers, employment)
  • Database Limiters: date, publication type, type, peer-reviewed, etc.   (note: peer-reviewed is scholarly publication)
