     Check the publisher's web site to see if they consider themselves scholarly

SEARCH STRATEGIES

• Boolean - AND, OR, NOT
• Field searching - Subject, Author, Title
• Quotation marks for exact phrase
• Truncation - root + variants (*) 
• Database Limiters: date, publication type, type, peer-reviewed, etc.

If we don't have the book you need, borrow it from another library:

• Fill out a form to request a book from one of our sister colleges
• You can also get a Texshare library card from us and borrow directly from many libraries in the state
• If all else fails, use interlibrary loan.  We can request the book for you form many libraries in the country.
